GREEN - Packaging is as important as the ingredients. Featured artwork by Laura Ashton, local botanical artist communicates the ingredients' freshness, beauty and connection to nature. Artwork also featured by Joanna Barnum. All packaging is recyclable and/or biodegradeable - Thanks to Sam and David at Paper Tube Co. for their exquisite workmanship. All ingredients are environmentally friendly. 

BOTANICAL - IMMERSION BOTANICA products are formulated using botanical herbs, oils, and extracts. Plant based essential fatty acids (EFA) Omega 3 and 6 are important for our skin and yet our bodies cannot produce them. It is believed that many skin problems result from a deficiency. EFAs transformed into prostaglandins in the cells of the skin help to maintain homeostasis in many of our body's biological processes and control inflammation. We use botanicals to prevent and manage skin issues such as acne and sun damage. Skin care experts consider vitamin A essential as a daily protectant for its ability to be a free radical scavenger especially against ultra-violet damage. Minimal exposure to the sun depletes our skin of vitamin A and so we need to replenish vitamin A on a daily basis and cannot effectively do this through the foods we eat. An important natural and accepted safe version of vitamin A is Beta Carotene, the plant form of vitamin A found in yellow, orange & red fruits and vegetables. Beta Carotene is one of the most powerful antioxidants found in nature and is present in many of the oils in my formulations.

CertClean has certified many of my products, recognizing their safety - free from ingredients linked to cancer or endocrine disruption and environmentally friendly. ECOcert approved preservative is used in all water-based products. We follow the standards of Good Manufacturing Process.
